White Horse Theatre: Maid Marian

On June 15th we could yet again welcome the WhiteHorse Theatre at our school. This time our „little ones“ from years 5 and 6 enjoyed the play "Maid Marian" by Peter Griffith.
For those who don't know: Maid Marian and her boyfriend Robin Hood live in Sherwood Forest.  Together with their gang, the Merry Men, they help the poor by robbing the rich.  But the horrible Sheriff of Nottingham is trying to catch them.
Well, by taking over several roles our pupils helped to save Marian and Robin from the nasty Sheriff and made sure that finally they could get married.
Everybody was glad to see this happy ending! Our special thanks go to the four actors for their ever so witty performance and we are sure our pupils will benefit from having seen live theatre in English.
